1. Does the internship relate to your coursework?

Yes¸ it does. I am studying management science with specialization in marketing. During my internship at PKF¸ I am working mostly on tasks related with my specialization: writing reports/articles¸ promoting corporate forum¸ creating new sections at company website.

 

2. Did your internship meet your expectations?

Absolutely! My main expectation was (and still is!) to get new experience. My time in PKF definitely provided me with invaluable lessons and insight into company life. I truly enjoyed being a part of the team.

 

3. What did you enjoy the most during your stay at PKF?

Undeniably¸ it was the possibility to taste of business life on daily basis. I liked to write articles for local newspaper and our website. It’s great feeling when you know that your work is published and someone will read it.

Besides¸ I really enjoyed lunch break and morning-gossips with other interns.

 

4. How has the internship at PKF affected your career plan?

During my internship I was assisting on the front desk and I really enjoyed it. For sure¸ I will try to find enjoyable job where I can interact with other people and have contact with the clients. I know which tasks were interesting for me and in which field of marketing I would like to work.

 

5. What’s your opinion about the working environment at PKF?

I loved the work environment. I don’t know whether it’s due to Maltese lifestyle or their positive attitude but I’ve never expected such a great family atmosphere at work.

 

6. Why would you recommend this placement to other students?

If you are looking for a great professional experience and you are a beach lover¸ don’t hesitate and apply for the internship at PKF Malta.

 

7. What’s your overall view about internship at PKF Malta?

The internship is always unique and unforgettable experience. My traineeship at PKF was just like that. I can’t believe that 3 months have passed so quickly!

 

8. Would you provide any suggestions/tips for future interns?

Never be afraid to ask questions!

If you don’t have enough work to keep you busy¸ just ask for things to do.

 

Of course¸ I’d be lying by saying that during my 4 months in Malta I’ve spent time only at the office… Enjoy the island and good weather! You will miss it for sure!
