Greg David is the director of the business journalism program at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism and writes a blog and print column for Crain’s New York Business. He spent more than two decades as the editor of Crain’s¸ covering the city’s business¸ economic and political issues. He appears frequently on media outlets discussing political and business issues. His book Modern New York: The Life and Economics of a City was published by Palgrave Macmillan in April. The Economist called it ”the fast-paced story of the fall and rise of New York.” He lives in New York.
