Malta’s thriving aviation and aerospace industry shall once again be showcased at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition¸ with Malta Enterprise currently receiving applications from private companies operating within this sector interested at participating at this event.

Held annually in Geneva¸ Switzerland¸ EBACE is one of the leading events in the aviation and aerospace industry and consequently it is the perfect venue for companies who want to showcase their latest innovations¸ products or services.

The event also serves as an excellent brokerage event for participants to meet new clients or business partners and learn about investment opportunities.

Participation in the coming edition¸ which will be held between 14 and 16 May 2012¸ is once again being coordinated by Malta Enterprise¸ Transport Malta and the Malta Business Aviation Association under the helm of Aviation Malta.

At last year’s edition¸ the organisations jointly promoted the vast range of services Malta offers in the aviation industry and ancillary services¸ such as aircraft registration¸ aircraft financing and management¸ aircraft maintenance¸ aviation training and support¸ as well as corporate services.

Eight companies were assisted to participate and exhibit on the Malta stand to showcase their offering. All companies had registered good interest in their services and established new contacts and business leads that they were eventually able to follow up.

On their part¸ Malta Enterprise and Transport Malta actively promoted Malta and provided details of the projects being undertaken as well as the support and assistance that companies operating within this sector can benefit from.

Among others¸ information was given about the Safi Aviation Park project – which is now nearing its completion and which is boosting the facilities available for the MRO industry and related clusters – as well as the revamped aviation register.
