1. Does the internship relate to your coursework?

Yes it does. I am currently studying Accountancy at the University of Malta and this is my second year.  What I do during my internship is very relevant and what I learn during my work hours I can apply to my studies and research.

2. Did your internship meet your expectations?

I joined in this internship because I wanted to gain experience in the line of work that I am going to take in the future.  Working at PKF Malta is letting me experience the work life which is very different from university life¸ exactly what I wanted to achieve.

3. What did you enjoy the most during your stay at PKF?

There is no one specific thing that I enjoy at PKF. The staff is very friendly¸ the work is interesting¸ and you learn new things everyday and continue to grow in your line of work.

4. How has the internship at PKF affected your career plan?

My internship at PKF reaffirmed to myself that I made the right decision is choosing accountancy as my profession line and in choosing to be an accountant as my profession.

5. What’s your opinion about the working environment at PKF?

The working environment is very nice and welcoming. The staff is friendly and PKF seems like a home rather than a working place.  The place is small and therefore you have the advantage of getting to know everyone and even our superiors are very approachable so when you have a query or a problem¸ they help you as much as possible.

6. Why would you recommend this placement to other students?

I would recommend this internship to those students who want to start experiencing the work life in a smaller environment¸  who want undivided attention from their superiors¸ who wish to have a substantial part in work projects¸  most of all to those that believe that a smaller accountancy firm will satisfy their needs more.

7. What’s your overall view about internship at PKF Malta?

An internship at PKF broadens your horizons¸ can give you a brighter future and is a great stepping stone to arrive where you want in the future.  One must see this internship as a great opportunity.

8. Would you provide any suggestions/tips for future interns?

At PKF try to take in as much experience as possible.  You will learn more and more everyday and when this experience will finish you will have grown professionally.  The research that you will make will help you with your studies so do not take it lightly.  What you will learn will broaden your horizons and knowledge so good luck 🙂
